This policy explains how the Platinum Homes Website uses cookies and similar storage or access technologies. It should be read with our Privacy Notice.

1. What cookies and similar technologies are

Cookies are small text files placed on a browser or device. Similar technologies include local storage, pixels, tags, scripts, device identifiers and other methods that store information on, or access information from, a device.

2. The rules we follow

We may use strictly necessary technologies without consent where they are essential to provide a service you request, transmit communications or protect the service. For optional technologies - such as most analytics, personalisation and advertising tools - we will provide clear information and obtain consent before they operate, as required by the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 (PECR) and UK data-protection law.

3. Technologies currently used on the holding page

The page reviewed on 20 August 2026 uses Webflow hosting and forms, Cloudflare Turnstile form protection and Google Fonts. No Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, Hotjar, advertising cookies, embedded maps or embedded video trackers were detected in the published page source.

Turnstile tokens are short-lived. Any security cookie lasts for the challenge/security period configured for the service.

4. Google Fonts and external resources

The Website currently requests the Baskervville and Mulish font files from Google Fonts. This is not used by Platinum Homes for advertising, but the request necessarily sends technical information such as the user's IP address, browser details and requested font to Google. The page does not intentionally use Google Fonts to set an analytics or advertising cookie. Platinum may choose to self-host these fonts to reduce third-party requests.

5. Social-media links

The Website includes links to Platinum Homes pages on Facebook and Instagram. The holding page does not embed those social feeds. Platinum does not set Meta cookies merely because the links are displayed, but the social-media provider may collect information if you click a link and visit its service.

6. Optional cookies added in future

If we introduce analytics, advertising, embedded maps, videos, social feeds or other non-essential technologies, we will:

  • update this policy with the provider, purpose, cookie or storage name and lifespan;
  • display an appropriate consent control;
  • prevent optional technologies from operating until the required consent is given;
  • make “reject all” as clear and accessible as “accept all”; and
  • allow consent to be withdrawn as easily as it was given.

7. Managing your choices

Where optional cookies are used, you can change your choices through the Website's Cookie settings control. If no such control is displayed, the current Website should be operating only essential technologies described above.

A consent tool may itself set a strictly necessary preference cookie so that the Website can remember and respect your choice. Before any such tool goes live, this policy should be updated with its exact cookie name and configured lifespan, normally 6-12 months before a renewed choice is requested.

You can also delete or block cookies in your browser. Blocking essential technologies may prevent the form or other parts of the Website from working correctly. Browser controls do not necessarily block every form of local storage or device access, so use the Website's consent control where available.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the Website, its suppliers or the law changes. We will publish the latest version with its updated date and request fresh consent where a material change requires it.
